Under One Unquiet Sky

Liedtext

Der Liedtext bleibt im gesungenen Englisch.

Rain fills the wounds where the road-stakes stood. Apple roots take hold in the measured mud. A warm door opens where the burned ones sleep; One small bell is ringing through the deep.

Beyond the hedge, beyond the barley light, Long waves shoulder iron through the night. Oars beat time beneath a ravened north; Old oaths wake, and unnamed sails go forth.

From hidden hearth to mountain scar, No valley stands from fate afar. The Veil burns wide, the dark tides climb; Five peoples breathe in borrowed time.

Under one unquiet sky, Five old roads and none run straight. Sea and root and hearth and stone, Falling light above the gate. Hear the world beneath the war— Not a throne, but lives untold. Myrvand turns beyond the map; No single hand can make it hold.

In elder woods, the wounded branches sing; Names live longer than the axe and king. Green hands measure every offered blade: What must be guarded? What must not be paid?

Beneath black peaks, the forge bells answer slow. Ink remembers what the markets owe. Deep in the stone, a second rhythm starts; The anvils pause and listen between hearts.

Above burned towers, ordered wings align. Ash law travels down the silver line. One silent heart keeps count behind the Crown; One open hand still tears the measures down.

Root below and storm above, Every power tests what mortals love. The old world moves beneath our feet; No marching line can name its beat.

Under one unquiet sky, Five old roads and none run straight. Sea and root and hearth and stone, Falling light above the gate. Hear the world beneath the war— Not a throne, but lives untold. Myrvand turns beyond the map; No single hand can make it hold.

Perhaps the groves will open to the shore. Perhaps new oaths will cross the broken ford,

Perhaps the white will silence flame and drum. Perhaps the Hollow Star will steal a name—

No prophecy owns us. No map contains us. No crown can number The roots below. Let storm meet mountain. Let old seas answer. We choose the promise We do not know.

Under one unquiet sky, Five bright fires refuse one fate. Sea and root and hearth and stone, Living light before the gate. Hear the world beyond this war— Every home a tale untold. Myrvand turns beyond the map; No single hand can make it hold.

Under one unquiet sky, Raven, antler, bell, and oar; One valley bell answers the Veil— And distant voices answer far.

The road is gone. The paths remain. The sky is one. The world will change.
